I had been working on children's stories for years and started a writer's critique group at the Walpole Town Library where I was working. In 1998 I began taking writing classes with poet Kate Gleason in Keene New Hampshire. Art became my focus once I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1999 with morning pages keeping the stream of consciousness writing flowing.

This spring, Rainier Symphony will be auctioning Painted Violin Project creations in an online event. They will also be showcasing them at each concert series and on our website.
